The El Barranco Resort
The name El Barranco is derived from the Spanish meaning of a valley. The development, set within this naturally formed landscape, has apartments and villas on either side, a chain of six swimming pools in the centre of which two are heated, two are fresh water and two are children’s pools. There are also two jacuzzis where you can sit back and relax, and an ornamental stream which runs the length of the site.
El Barranco Resort is just 100 metres from the sea and consists of 94 apartments and villas of which there are 23 penthouses each with roof-top solariums. All apartments and villas are designed to have sea or pool views with the majority enjoying both.
The resort contains over 4,800 metres of communal tropical gardens, also included is a pool bar which forms the centre piece of the island in the centre of the main pool and the "Lemon Tree Grove" - a traditional Spanish Restaurant set in a courtyard surrounded by Lemon trees with a stream running through the centre. Here you can relax with a coffee or enjoy the traditional Spanish cuisine.
Constructed to the latest standards and equipped throughout with high quality fixtures and finishes, all apartments and villas truly meet the “luxurious” nametag. Each kitchen is fully fitted with elegant base and wall units complete with polished granite worktops, breakfast bars and a full range of electrical appliances to ensure it really is a home from home.
All the apartments and villas are furnished to a high standard and each will be equipped with everything that is required for up to date living including air conditioning, TV including SKY, DVD and Mini Hifi. Ensuring all visitors have a memorable stay.
The resort is run to an extremely high standard with everything catered for, including daily maid service and linen change and fresh towels each morning for the pool. You will really receive 5 star service.
